About the Gray Monk Pinot Gris Limited Edition 750ml
The grape behind the name of Gray Monk, we have a soft spot for Pinot Gris.
Limited edition wine grown in Washington State.
The grapes for the 2023 Gray Monk Pinot Gris Washington State Limited Edition were harvested in early September. The fruit was gently pressed then fermented in stainless steel before being carefully blended to achieve the ideal balance. This wine is notably fruit-forward, with no oak or malolactic fermentation used in its production.
This Pinot Gris is clear and bright. Its aroma profile is distinguished by ripe stone fruit, pear, and orchard blossom with subtle hints of citrus adding complexity. Offering a smooth yet refreshing experience, the wine boasts a medium body with a touch of richness and texture. An off-dry style, with an explosion of orchard fruits, melon and delicate spice notes with a touch of minerality lingering on the finish.
A wonderful sipping wine. air with lemon herb roasted chicken, grilled shrimp with garlic butter, spinach and feta stuffed phyllo pastry, seared ahi tuna or a fresh spring salad.
