About the Gray Monk Odyssey Merlot
Bright garnet in colour, this full-bodied Merlot offers smoky oak, spice, earth, black cherry and dark plum. Firm yet approachable tannins frame dark fruit flavours, with sweet spice and oak carrying through an extra-dry, lingering finish of tangy fruit and spice.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with grilled steak, leg of lamb, mushroom lasagna, and aged Asiago cheese.
