About the Grant Burge The Holy Trinity 2021
The Grant Burge The Holy Trinity 2021 is a refined Rhône-style blend from the Barossa Valley, crafted from old dry-grown vines ranging from 35 to 100 years of age. This vintage is noted for its vibrant red fruit pedigree, achieving elegance through the use of seasoned French oak rather than new barrels, which allows the natural fruit characteristics of raspberry, cherry, and spice to remain prominent.
93 Points - James Suckling
Dark-fruited aromas of dark cherries, dried herbs, licorice and pencil shavings. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with finely integrated tannins and bright acidity, giving flavors of plums, blackberries, spices and game meat. A well-constructed blend 40% grenache, 35% shiraz and 25% mourvedre. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
90 Points - Wine Spectator
This generous, juicy and succulent red leads with black cherry, blueberry and wild blackberry flavors. Offers notes of herbs, toasted fennel and chai tea, plus a hint of bittersweet chocolate on the plush frame. Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre. Drink now.
