About the Grangehurst Pinotage 2009
Deep ruby in colour, it offers red berries and ripe plum layered with vanilla and fine spice. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with juicy raspberry character, robust tannins and a long, structured finish. Its combination of mature fruit, oak and firm structure showcases a classic, age-worthy expression of South African Pinotage.
Food Pairing: Grilled ostrich, braised beef, venison, roast lamb and smoked meats.
