Gran Centenario Anejo Tequila

Crafted in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, Gran Centenario Añejo is a historic 100% Weber Blue Agave spirit steeped in tradition since its creation in 1895 by Lazaro Gallardo. Produced using estate-grown agave cooked in traditional masonry ovens, crushed in roller mills, and double-distilled in copper pot stills, this expression utilizes the signature Selección Suave process. This proprietary technique involves blending hand-selected aged reserve batches to achieve exceptional smoothness. Aged for up to 36 months in new American oak barrels, it offers a harmonious profile where rich oak, toasted nuts, and sweet baking spices accent a soft cooked agave core.

Food Pairing: Grilled ribeye steak, slow-braised pork carnitas, dark chocolate tarts, aged Manchego cheese, churros with caramel sauce, or mole poblano.

Tasting Notes: Deep amber-gold with bright copper reflections, medium-heavy body, and smooth, slow-forming tears.

Nose: Rich and inviting, opening with toasted oak, warm vanilla bean, and sweet caramel, supported by dried fruits, subtle clove spice, and roasted agave.
