Breuckelen Glorious Gin Oaked

Handcrafted in Brooklyn, New York, by Breuckelen Distilling, Glorious Gin: Oaked is a grain-to-glass barrel-aged expression distilled from locally grown New York wheat. Starting with their base Glorious Gin—distilled with five simple botanicals—this spirit is aged in charred new American oak barrels for several months. The barrel maturation softens the spirit while layering warm bourbon-like vanilla, toasted oak, and baking spice over its foundational grapefruit, rosemary, and juniper core.

Food Pairing: Grilled pork chops, duck breast with fruit glaze, smoked salmon, charcuterie with aged gouda, or dark chocolate desserts.

Tasting Notes: Warm straw gold to light amber in appearance with a round, velvety, and smooth medium-to-full body.

Nose: Aromas of toasted oak, vanilla, and honey lead upfront, accompanied by fresh rosemary, bright grapefruit peel, warm baking spice, and a soft piney juniper base.

Palate: Richly structured and creamy, opening with sweet caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak before revealing crisp juniper berries, zesty grapefruit oil, fresh herbal rosemary, and ginger spice.

Finish: Long, warm, and lingering with notes of charred oak tannins, soft citrus peel, herbal pine, and gentle vanilla sweetness.

Serve: Serve neat, over a large ice sphere, or substituted for whiskey or standard gin in classic cocktails like a Martinez, Old Fashioned, or Negroni.
