About the The Glenturret Triple Wood
A mellow yet layered Highland single malt, Triple Wood is Glenturret’s showcase of cask craftsmanship. It blends maturation in American and European sherry-seasoned oak alongside bourbon barrels to bring together sweet fruit, spice, and oak in a balanced dram.
The nose opens with vanilla toffee and maltiness, followed by citrus peel and pear drops. There is gentle spice in the mix — cinnamon and ginger — alongside sweet wood tones and honeyed fruits.
The palate continues with soft oak, sticky ginger cake and hints of lighter fruits, backed by malt sweetness and subtle spice.
The finish is soft yet satisfying, with lighter oak fading into honeyed fruit and a touch of wood spice to close.
Best enjoyed neat in a tulip or Glencairn glass so the aromas can evolve, or with a few drops of water to ease the wood and emphasize the fruit and spice.
