The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is an exceptionally smooth, bright, and approachable Speyside single malt Scotch whisky created as a tribute to the distillery's pioneering founder, George Smith. To capture the signature fruitiness and elegant character of the original 1824 expression, this non-age-statement malt is distilled in The Glenlivet's classic lantern-shaped copper pot stills. The spirit is then matured in a combination of traditional oak casks alongside a high proportion of first-fill American white oak ex-bourbon barrels. This specialized wood selection infuses the whisky with creamy vanilla sweetness and subtle tropical undertones, making it a highly accessible and delightfully smooth dram for both newcomers and seasoned whisky enthusiasts alike.

TASTING NOTES - A bright, pale gold color with a light to medium body and a smooth, clean, and refreshing mouthfeel.

NOSE - Lively and sweet with prominent aromas of ripe green apples, sweet pears, and zesty citrus oils, backed by creamy vanilla fudge and a touch of honeyed malt.

PALATE - Delicate and fruity on the tongue, delivering upfront sweet flavors of orange zest, poached pear, and vanilla cream, beautifully balanced by a soft hint of baking spices and oak.
