To capture the signature fruitiness and elegant character of the original 1824 expression, this non-age-statement malt is distilled in The Glenlivet's classic lantern-shaped copper pot stills. The spirit is then matured in a combination of traditional oak casks alongside a high proportion of first-fill American white oak ex-bourbon barrels. This specialized wood selection infuses the whisky with creamy vanilla sweetness and subtle tropical undertones, making it a highly accessible and delightfully smooth dram for both newcomers and seasoned whisky enthusiasts alike.
