Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Cumulative Time

Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Cumulative Time is an exceptionally mature Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky showcasing Glenfiddich’s distinctive remnant-vatting method. Whisky aged for at least 40 years is married with a portion retained from the previous 40 Year Old vatting, creating continuity between successive releases. This 45.7% ABV expression incorporates whisky matured in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks, resulting in a deeply layered profile of mature fruit, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, oak and warming spice.

Food Pairing: Aged hard cheeses, roasted walnuts, dark chocolate, fruit cake, black-cherry desserts or slow-roasted beef.

Tasting Notes: Deep and mature with layers of dried fruit, dark chocolate, roasted coffee and black cherry complemented by polished oak, leather and warming spice.

Nose: Dried fruits, ripe black cherries and dark chocolate with roasted coffee, polished leather, cloves and mature oak.

Palate: Rich fruit cake, dates, raisins and stewed apple develop alongside dark chocolate, roasted coffee and well-integrated mature oak.

Finish: Exceptionally long and complex with lingering dried fruit, dark chocolate, oak tannins and gentle warming spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a tulip-shaped whisky glass. Allow ample time in the glass for the mature aromas to develop before adding water.
