Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve

Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve is a rich single malt Scotch whisky matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in deeply charred new American oak barrels from The Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky. This expression seamlessly combines Glenfiddich's classic Speyside orchard fruit character with the bold vanilla, warm oak spice, and sweet caramel notes typically associated with fine Kentucky bourbon.

Food Pairing: Smoked baby back ribs, grilled pork chops with apple glaze, pecan pie, aged cheddar cheese, or bourbon-glazed steak.

Tasting Notes : Rich golden amber hue with a smooth, velvety, and medium-to-full-bodied mouthfeel.

Nose : Vibrant aromas of baked apple, ripe pear, sweet vanilla, toasted oak, creamy caramel, and warm baking spices.

Palate : Rich and full-flavored with layers of caramelized apple, sweet vanilla fudge, toasted oak, woody spice, and soft honeyed malt.

Finish : Long, warm, and sweet with lingering notes of crisp oak, sweet vanilla, and subtle spice.

Serve : Serve neat at room temperature, on the rocks with a single large ice cube, or with a few drops of water in a Glencairn glass.
