Food Pairing: Roasted venison, aged Gouda or Blue Stilton cheese, dark chocolate truffles, braised duck breast, and sticky date pudding.

Tasting Notes : Deep golden amber in appearance with a silky, rich, and full-bodied mouthfeel.

Nose : Rich aromas of honeyed malt and golden syrup, followed by layers of dried figs, dates, and apricots, subtle oak, warm cinnamon, nutmeg, dark chocolate, toffee, and caramelized orange peel.

Palate : Velvety smooth with sweet toffee, butterscotch, raisins, sultanas, and fig jam, balanced by oak tannins, dark chocolate, espresso, toasted almonds, and mid-palate spice notes of clove and black pepper.

Finish : Long and lingering, with sweetness fading into notes of oak, dried fruits, and a subtle hint of nutmeg.

Serve : Serve neat at room temperature in a Glencairn or copita glass to appreciate the single-cask complexity.
