Distilled in 1978 and matured for 45 years in a single 4th fill hogshead (Cask #758), it was bottled at a natural cask strength of 45.8% ABV as part of the Summer 2023 Family Casks release. Because it was matured in a 4th fill cask, the influence of the oak is gentle, allowing the delicate, fruity, and floral character of the aged distillery spirit to shine through.
