About the Giusti Massimo Cabernet Merlot 2021
Intense and luminous ruby red. Intense notes of blackberry and sour cherry with elegant grass notes and floral hints of red rose and wild violet followed by black pepper, cloves and roasted bell pepper. Recalls the bouquet with a persistent fruity aftertaste. Good body and smooth tannins make it elegant and well balanced.
Wine suited to red meat but also perfect with braised veal and pork. Also excellent with medium-aged cheeses or lasagne with Radicchio di Treviso.
90 Points - Falstaff
Dark bright, rich ruby red with purple inflections. On the nose it is a bit restrained and cloudy at the beginning, slight cheese rind, some sage and fumé in the aftertaste. On the palate it shows with some juiciness, fruity-sweet core, but coated with some loosely knit tannin, light tasting.
