This deeply expressive and majestic single-vineyard Barolo from the 2018 vintage opens with an aristocratic bouquet of dark red cherries, wild raspberries, and crushed cranberries, beautifully intertwined with sophisticated notes of orange peel, licorice, iron, and dried rose petals. On the medium-to-full-bodied palate, it showcases the signature power of Serralunga d'Alba, delivering a firm, vertical structure and a highly concentrated core of red fruits, framed by tightly knit, chalky tannins and an electric regional acidity that sweeps into a long, mineral-driven finish.
Food Pairing: Outstanding alongside slow-cooked beef osso buco, wild boar ragù, truffle-infused tajarin pasta, or mature, hard cheeses like Castelmagno.
