About the Gerard Bertrand La Grande Bleue
Gérard Bertrand La Grande Bleue is an exceptionally fresh, vibrant, and pure organic white wine created as a beautiful ode to the sun-drenched Mediterranean coastline. Crafted from a harmonious blend of Rolle (Vermentino), Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc grown on coastal terroirs kissed by sea breezes, it reveals a luminous pale yellow hue with delicate green reflections in the glass. The highly expressive bouquet opens with inviting aromas of white-fleshed fruits like fresh pear and peach, bright citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, and subtle floral hints of white hawthorn. On the palate, it is incredibly airy, crisp, and beautifully balanced, offering a lively, mouth-watering energy. A distinctively saline, mineral-driven finish elegantly recalls the refreshing sea spray of the Mediterranean, making it a perfect, thirst-quenching companion for relaxed summer moments.
Food Pairing: Pairs brilliantly with freshly shucked oysters, grilled white fish, lively summer salads, vegetable tian, or as an elegant, refreshing aperitif.
