About the Gerard Bertrand Source Of Joy Rose 2020
Gérard Bertrand Source of Joy Rosé 2020 is an elegant, certified organic and vegan rosé crafted from a traditional blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault. Sourced from exceptional terroirs in the Languedoc characterized by a complex geological matrix of schist and limestone, this wine is partially aged in oak barrels to lend extra breadth and roundness. In the glass, it presents a beautiful, bright pink robe that introduces a vibrant and complex bouquet filled with aromas of fresh strawberries, red cherries, and light touches of licorice and garrigue herbs. The palate is wonderfully generous yet perfectly balanced, displaying a clean, refreshing acidity and soft red berry tones that persist gracefully on a dry, lively finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with grilled sea bass, fresh salmon sashimi, ceviche, lighter poultry dishes, or fresh summery salads.
Wine Enthusiast
Fresh pressed garrigue herbs are partnered with light cherry, strawberry and Asian pear on the nose of this well-balanced rosé. Powder and baby’s breath add some floral depth. The palate is balanced in soft yet lifting acidity and ripe fruit tones, finishing clean and dry with just a touch of mouthwaring sensation.
