Gérard Bertrand Héritage "An 560" Côtes du Roussillon Villages Tautavel 2022 is a rich, expressive, and full-bodied red blend crafted by Gérard Bertrand in homage to the ancient heritage of the Tautavel amphitheater. Sourced from limestone-clay and schist vineyard plots, a third of the wine is aged for nine months in oak barrels to build complexity. It displays a deep, brilliant ruby color with intense aromas of ripe black cherry, black currant, liquorice, wild truffle, and tapenade. On the palate, it delivers a dense, velvety texture with structured, silky tannins, vibrant freshness, and a long finish filled with notes of garrigue and sweet spice.
