G4 Reposado Madera Día de Muertos Edition 2024 Tequila is an extra-special, limited-release artisanal tequila produced by Felipe Camarena at El Pandillo distillery (NOM 1579). Fermented in traditional pine wood vats with agave fibers (De Madera) and aged for 7 months in vintage Jack Daniel's whiskey barrels—previously used for the famed G4 "55" month release—it is enriched with a measure of 7-year Reserva de Felipe Extra Añejo. Encased in a handcrafted "coffin" box, this 42% ABV expression delivers a masterclass in rich cooked agave, subtle pine notes, oak spice, and incredible layered depth.

Food Pairing: Slow-cooked cochinita pibil, mole negro, grilled ribeye steak, roasted pork carnitas, dark chocolate tarts, and aged manchego cheese.

Tasting Notes : Light golden amber in appearance, offering a soft, round, oily, and rich full-bodied mouthfeel.

Nose : Sweet cooked agave intertwined with fragrant pine, gentle oak, subtle vanilla, caramel, dried fruits, and light earthy pepper.

Palate : A harmonious blend of bright highland cooked agave, warm oak spice, butterscotch, light toasted wood, mineral salinity, and complex extra-añejo notes of dark cocoa and baking spices.

Finish : Long, warm, and lingering with sweet roasted agave, gentle wood tannins, subtle pine resin, and soft pepper spice.
