Caol Ila 13 Year Old 2007 vintage Islay single malt Scotch whisky was double matured in Hermitage French red wine casks bottled 2021 for the Connoisseurs Choice series.
Nose: Buttered french bread, honey-smoked ham, vanilla, melon, graham wafers and lemon zest.
Palate: Flavours on the nose follow through on the palate but a greater emphasis on gentle smoke.
Finish: Long and consistent - very well balanced.
