Crafted in the celebrated Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux's Left Bank, Réserve de la Comtesse is the official second wine of Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, a historic Second Growth (Deuxième Grand Cru Classé). Benefiting from the exact same viticultural rigor, hand-sorting, and winemaking expertise as the Grand Vin, this wine offers early accessibility while retaining classic Pauillac nobility. Sourced from estate vineyards planted on deep gravel over clay-limestone subsoils near the Gironde estuary, the blend features a high proportion of Merlot alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, aged in fine French oak barriques.
