About the Domaine Fourrier Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes 2023
Domaine Fourrier Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes 2023 is an exceptionally pure, elegant, and vibrant red Burgundy crafted by renowned winemaker Jean-Marie Fourrier from old vines averaging 50 to 70 years in age. Grown on limestone and clay-rich soils in the Côte de Nuits, it opens with bright, expressive aromatics of wild strawberry, crunchy red currant, and crushed raspberry, complemented by delicate floral rose petal notes and subtle spice. On the palate, it exhibits medium body with a silken texture, vibrant natural acidity, and supple, fine-grained tannins that lead to a clean, mineral-accented finish.
Food Pairing: Roasted poultry, pan-seared duck breast, grilled salmon, veal cutlets, wild mushroom risotto, and mild cheeses such as Comté or Brie.
