Medium- to full-bodied, dense and concentrated, it offers a powerful yet beautifully balanced palate with remarkable purity, perfectly ripe tannins and an outstanding finish. It opens with aromas of minty cassis, plums, licorice, pipe tobacco and vanilla pod. Medium- to full-bodied, rich and velvety, it delivers terrific depth of fruit with a more textural, slightly granular profile than the suave 2019, while retaining impressive balance and finesse.
