The Fontodi Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Terrazze di San Leonino 2022 is a highly regarded, certified organic Sangiovese expressing complex dark cherry, plum, and floral notes with a hint of incense and spice. It features striking salinity and tension from its high-elevation, alberese (limestone) soil vineyard, presenting as full-bodied with silky tannins, firm acidity, and a long, elegant finish that balances dense fruit with complexity.
