About the Fontanavecchia Aglianico
A robust and characterful Aglianico with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cedar, tobacco, and subtle spice. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers ripe dark fruit, smooth tannins, and lively acidity that provide excellent balance and structure. Notes of coffee, licorice, and earthy undertones add depth, leading to a long, savory finish with classic southern Italian character.
Food Pairing: Duck confit, beef brisket, osso buco, wild boar, spicy sausages, and eggplant parmesan.
