Fontanafredda Barolo Serralunga d'Alba 2022

Fontanafredda Barolo Serralunga d'Alba 2022 is an exceptionally structured, aromatic, and classic Italian red wine crafted from estate-grown Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the limestone and marl soils of Serralunga d'Alba. Displaying a clear ruby-red color with garnet highlights, it opens with an inviting and complex bouquet of wild dark cherries, red plums, and wilted roses, accented by undertones of sweet spices, dried herbs, and subtle forest floor nuances. On the palate, it exhibits a full-bodied, rich texture balanced by firm, gravelly tannins and lively acidity, carrying deep berry fruit and savory mineral notes into a long, persistent, and elegant finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with braised beef short ribs, roasted lamb shanks, truffle risotto, wild boar ragù, and aged Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
