Folonari Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore is a rich, supple, and classic northern Italian red wine produced by Folonari in the heart of Veneto. Made using the traditional ripasso method—where young Valpolicella wine is re-fermented over the warm, sugar-rich grape skins leftover from Amarone production—it acquires added depth, complexity, and alcohol. In the glass, it exhibits a deep ruby hue with inviting aromas of red cherry jam, dark plum, dried fruit, cocoa, and subtle baking spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth, and concentrated, framing juicy black fruit with velvety tannins and a gentle touch of toasted oak on a long finish.
