About the Filipa Pato Nossa Calcario 2019 750ml
This producer also makes a white wine. Ensure your merchant has the color you are looking for.
Critic tasting note: (2019 vintage) "This Baga is handpicked and hand selected from their centenary vineyards in Bairrada (3 to 4 bunches/vine). Partly destemmed, this was fermented in open oak lagares with some extraction (pigeage). After fermentation the wine is aged in 500/600L used pipas for 18 months. Tight and nimble, with tight balsamic acidity pinning cassis, black raspberry, cherry along a slender base. Strung with astringency, this tighter red welcomes food, and a slight chill. (Treve Ring)." - 88/100, Gismondi on Wine
