Domaine J.A Ferret Pouilly-Fuisse Premier Cru Clos Jeanne

Domaine J.A. Ferret Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Clos de Jeanne (often misattributed as Château-Fuissé) is an elegant, highly expressive, and refined Premier Cru white Burgundy produced in the village of Fuissé. The vineyard, "Le Clos de Jeanne," is a tiny 0.64-hectare east-facing walled plot located right next to the estate. In the glass, it exhibits a luminous pale gold color. The complex nose opens with aromas of lemon curd, ripe white peach, acacia blossom, subtle toasted brioche, and crushed limestone minerality. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet remarkably precise, offering a balance of creamy texture, rich orchard fruit flavors, bright acidity, and a long, chalky, saline-driven finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with butter-poached lobster, pan-seared sea scallops, roasted Bresse poultry in cream sauce, seafood risotto, and goat cheese.
