About the Fattoria di Basciano Vigna Il Corto 2019 750ml
Vigna Il Corto is located on the south-eastern slope of the property, on a soil of medium consistence rich in stone, and is composed by 90% Sangiovese Toscano and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Because of the particular characteristics of this vineyard, it is vinified by itself as "cru" since 1993.
Deep ruby red color; intense and complex bouquet, with berry and cherry aromas and flavors, and well-integrated hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with velvety ripe tannins, and a long finish.
A great match with roasted meats, stewed meats, game and aged cheeses perfectly.
