Fantini OPI Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane Riserva 2016

Fantini OPI Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane Riserva 2016 is an intensely aromatic and deeply concentrated Italian red crafted from organic Montepulciano grapes grown in the premium Colline Teramane zone. It pours a dense garnet-red and offers a striking, complex bouquet of crushed ripe blackberries, plum jam, pipe tobacco, and sweet baking spices, beautifully nuanced by hints of black olive, dark chocolate, and balsamic. On the palate, this full-bodied and richly textured Riserva delivers generous layers of opulent dark fruit framed by plush, lightly chewy tannins and a well-integrated oak influence. It culminates in a long, velvety, and beautifully spiced finish, making it a sumptuous wine that is highly approachable now but also structured for graceful aging.

Food Pairing: Pairs gorgeously with rich meat-based pasta dishes, savory barbecue pork chops, slow-roasted lamb, and medium to well-seasoned aged cheeses.
