Excellency Club Blended Malt Whisky

Excellency Club is a blended malt Scotch whisky combining two single malts from the southern Highlands of Scotland. It is initially matured in Bourbon barrels before being transported to France’s Cognac region, where it is finished for several months in casks that previously held Delpech-Fougerat Cognac.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with roasted meats, aged cheeses, toasted almonds, dried fruit, dark chocolate and caramel desserts.

Tasting Notes: Smooth and rounded with honeyed malt, orchard fruit, caramel, vanilla and gentle oak spice.

Nose: Honeyed malt and ripe orchard fruits with toasted oak and delicate spice.

Palate: Smooth malt, caramel, vanilla and dried apricot with gentle sweetness and Cognac-influenced fruit notes.

Finish: Long and warming with subtle smoke, oak and hints of dark chocolate.

Serve: Best enjoyed neat, over ice or with a few drops of water.
