Cadenheads Enigma Lowland Single Malt 11 Year Old 2013

Cadenhead’s Enigma Lowland Single Malt 11 Year Old is an independently bottled Scotch whisky from an undisclosed Lowland distillery. Distilled in 2013 and bottled in May 2025, it was finished in refill Oloroso Sherry casks from 2023 before being bottled at 57.5% ABV. The expression carries the Enigma code LOW.1.B and combines sweet fruit and Sherry character with figs, walnuts, grilled nectarine, cherry and warming spice. 

Food Pairing: Roast pork, aged cheddar, toasted walnuts, dark chocolate, orange cake or dried figs.

Tasting Notes: Fruity and Sherried with ripe stone fruit, figs and nuts developing into caramel, chocolate-orange and warming spice.

Nose: Fruit-sweet notes with figs and walnuts.

Palate: Grilled nectarine, buttered wholemeal toast and cherry fruit leather.

Finish: Caramel, chocolate orange and warming nutmeg.

Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature. At 57.5% ABV, adding a few drops of water can open up the fruit, citrus and Sherry character.
