Emilio Moro 2023

Emilio Moro 2023 is a refined, classic, and expressive Spanish red wine crafted by the legendary Bodegas Emilio Moro in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region. Made from 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) sourced from middle-aged vines grown on a mix of clay, limestone, and gravelly soils, it undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation before aging for 12 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels. In the glass, it presents an intense cherry-red color with dark ruby reflections. The bouquet opens with fragrant, vibrant aromas of ripe dark plum, blackberry, and Morello cherry, layered with subtle undertones of cocoa, toasted spice, licorice, and sweet vanilla. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, juicy, and polished, featuring dense, ripe black fruit supported by fine-grained, velvety tannins and fresh natural acidity that leads into a long, harmonious, and savory finish.
