Sourced from the organically farmed Block House Vineyard in Yountville and crafted by winemaker Jeff Onysko for Ghost Block Estate Wines (the Pelissa/Hoxsey family), this approachable yet complex wine seamlessly brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec. In the glass, it reveals a brilliant ruby color. The highly expressive aromatic bouquet opens with inviting notes of ripe dark cherries, red plums, and wild strawberries, beautifully layered with elegant hints of rose petals, cocoa, toasted vanilla, and a touch of white pepper. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, delivering a lush, fruit-forward core of blackberry and boysenberry accompanied by warm baking spices.
