About the Elements of Islay Lp11 52.2% ABV 500ml
A spicy, medicinal Laphroaig single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers's Elements of Islay series. Distilled in 2005, this whisky has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels for 15 years, creating layers of smoky, medicinal sweetness. Aromas of dates, molasses, coal smoke, charcoal, carbolic soap and caramelised onion sausages fill the nose. The palate offers notes of seaside barbecues, red apples, green vegetables, tomato sauce and burgers on the grill.
