Elements of Islay Fireside Limited Release 2024

Elements of Islay Fireside Limited Release 2024 is a smoky Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky created by Elements of Islay and Elixir Distillers. It combines malt whiskies from two distilleries on Islay’s north coast and is matured across heavily re-charred hogsheads, American oak Oloroso Sherry hogsheads and European oak Oloroso Sherry butts. Bottled at 54.5% ABV, Fireside combines robust Islay smoke with rich red fruit, candied orange, chocolate and warming spice.

Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, barbecue ribs, mature cheddar, dark chocolate, roasted nuts or chocolate-orange dessert.

Tasting Notes: Rich and smoky with red fruit and candied citrus layered over dark chocolate, sweet spice and warming wood smoke.

Nose: Fireside smoke with rich red fruit, smoked cherries, chocolate and candied orange, followed by gentle citrus and spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and warming with dark chocolate, red berries, orange and Sherry sweetness surrounded by rich Islay smoke.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering smoke, red fruit, dark chocolate and sweet spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat and allow it time to open in the glass. At 54.5% ABV, a few drops of water can reveal additional fruit, chocolate and Sherry character.
