About the Elderton Grand Tourer Shiraz 750ml
Grown from a single block on the Elderton Estate with the use of biodynamic methods, this wine is something completely different and unexpected from Elderton, but sits perfectly within their premise to gain recognition for premier single vineyard wines. Fermented in waxed open fermenters with heading boards and pressed early straight to new French oak hogsheads, for 12 months on gross lees. Blackberry & bramble fruit with hints of bready yeast characters, full rich palate & great length, dominated by black forest berries whilst retaining freshness.
