El Tesoro Blanco Tequila

El Tesoro Blanco Tequila is an exceptional, award-winning unaged spirit crafted at the historic La Alteña distillery in the highlands of Jalisco. Founded by Don Felipe Camarena in 1937, this estate-grown tequila is produced using 100% traditional methods that celebrate the pure essence of Blue Weber agave. The mature agave hearts are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens for days, then crushed using a massive volcanic stone tahona wheel to extract the sweet juice while retaining the plant fibers for fermentation. Fermented in open-air wood vats with natural wild yeasts and double-distilled to proof in copper pot stills, it remains entirely additive-free, preserving an authentic and intensely agave-forward character that captures the rich minerality of the highland soil.

Food Pairing: Pairs exquisitely with fresh seafood like citrusy ceviche, grilled shrimp skewers with lime, fish tacos, spicy guacamole, or light cheeses like goat cheese.

TASTING NOTES - Crystal clear with brilliant clarity, offering a remarkably crisp, bright, and slightly creamy mouthfeel with a pronounced mineral backbone.
