El Tequileno Gran Reserva Reposado Tequila

El Tequileño Gran Reserva Reposado Tequila is a premium additive-free Reposado tequila produced at Destiladora del Valle de Tequila (NOM 1108) in Tequila, Jalisco. Crafted using 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco (Los Altos), it is cooked in autoclaves, fermented in open-air cement tanks with volcanic spring water, and copper pot distilled. Aged for a minimum of 8 months in American oak barrels and expertly blended with a small portion of 18-month aged Añejo, it offers a harmonious profile of rich cooked agave, sweet vanilla, caramel, and gentle oak spice.

Food Pairing: Grilled carne asada, fish or pork carnitas tacos, mole poblano, roasted poultry, or flan.

Tasting Notes : Light golden amber with a smooth, rich, and creamy mouthfeel.

Nose : Cooked agave, vanilla, caramelized pear, honey, subtle nutmeg, and a touch of oak.

Palate : Creamy and balanced with flavors of sweet cooked agave, light oak, vanilla, macadamia nut, toffee, and subtle white pepper spice.

Finish : Long, soft, and velvety with lingering agave sweetness, gentle drying warmth, and delicate oak spice.

Serve : Serve neat at room temperature in a Riedel tequila glass or Glencairn, over a large ice cube, or as an elevated base for a Mexican Old Fashioned or Tommy's Margarita.
