About the El Enemigo Malbec 2023
El Enemigo Malbec 2023 is a complex, elegant, and deeply expressive Argentinian red wine crafted by winemaker Alejandro Vigil in high-altitude Mendoza vineyards. Displaying a rich ruby-purple color, it opens with a vibrant bouquet of fresh blackberries, ripe plums, and dark cherries, intricately layered with subtle accents of crushed violets, graphite, white pepper, and a touch of oak spice. On the palate, it delivers a medium-to-full body with smooth, fine-grained tannins, vibrant natural acidity, and a savory, mineral-driven core that leads into a long, fresh, and harmoniously balanced finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with grilled ribeye steak, roasted lamb chops, empanadas, braised beef short ribs, pork tenderloin, and aged hard cheeses.

Expressive, showing lots of dark cherries, fresh black plums, grilled herbs and subtle spices. Round, juicy and pristine, with medium body and a succulent, fruity finish. Good length. Drinkable now, but can hold for a few more years too.
