A masterful expression of high-altitude viticulture, the 2022 El Enemigo Cabernet Franc is sourced from the rocky, limestone-rich soils of Gualtallary. This wine presents a deep ruby-red color and a complex, vertical profile. The nose is highly aromatic, offering notes of ripe black cherries and raspberries interwoven with signature hints of green pepper, tobacco leaf, and crushed stones. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied and remarkably fresh, showcasing a concentrated core of red fruit balanced by a vibrant acidity and firm, chalky tannins. Having matured for 15 months in traditional 100-year-old oak foudres, it delivers a long, savory finish with elegant nuances of spice and mineral tension.
