El Dorado 21 Year Old Special Reserve Rum

El Dorado 21 Year Old Special Reserve Rum is a luxury Demerara rum produced in Guyana by Demerara Distillers Limited at the Diamond Distillery. It is crafted from a blend of rums aged for a minimum of 21 years in ex-bourbon oak casks, utilizing historical stills including the Enmore wooden Coffey still, the Versailles single wooden pot still, and the Port Mourant double wooden pot still. The resulting spirit is exceptionally smooth, full-bodied, and deeply complex.

Food Pairing: High-percentage dark chocolate, artisanal aged cheeses, dried fig or date desserts, roasted nuts, and fine cigars.

Tasting Notes - A deep bronze amber rum with rich legs and a velvety, heavy-bodied mouthfeel.

Nose - Complex and aromatic with notes of mocha, dark chocolate, ripe tropical fruits, toasted nuts, and oak spice.

Palate - Rich and smooth with layers of dark brown sugar, roasted coffee, dried fruits, buttery caramel, and subtle wood influence.
