El Ateo Reposado Tequila

Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested at peak maturity in the red clay soils of the Jalisco Highlands (Los Altos). Slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, crushed via roller mill, and double-distilled in copper pot stills at Industrializadora de Agave San Isidro (NOM 1420). Aged for 9 to 11 months in medium-charred American white oak barrels, this artisanal, additive-free reposado balances sweet cooked agave notes with sophisticated oak influence, delivering subtle vanilla, light butterscotch, and warm baking spices without overpowering the foundational agave character.

Food Pairing: Grilled pork tenderloin, roasted chicken, carnitas tacos, aged Gouda cheese, fish tacos, and vanilla bean flan.

Tasting Notes : Warm golden straw hue with brilliant clarity and a silky, medium-bodied mouthfeel.

Nose : Sweet cooked agave, soft vanilla, toasted oak tannins, buttery caramel, subtle citrus zest, and a touch of cinnamon.

Palate : Smooth and balanced with roasted agave, light butterscotch, soft oak spice, nutmeg, and subtle white pepper warmth.
