About the Edradour 12 Year Old 2013 St. Michael-Eppan Pinot Noir Cask Matured
Edradour 12 Year Old St. Michael-Eppan Pinot Noir is a limited Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2025. Matured in first-fill Pinot Noir wine casks from St. Michael-Eppan in South Tyrol, Italy, the whisky is bottled at 48.2% ABV. The red-wine maturation complements Edradour’s rich malt character with red berries, cherries, creamy sweetness, chocolate and warming spice.
Food Pairing: Roast duck, pork tenderloin, mature cheese, dark chocolate, cherry tart or roasted almonds.
Tasting Notes: Rich and fruit-forward with red berries and cherries balanced by creamy malt, chocolate, gentle tannins and warming spice.
Nose: Ripe cherries and red berries with sweet malt, vanilla and subtle floral notes.
Palate: Juicy red fruit and berry sweetness with creamy malt, chocolate and gentle oak spice.
Finish: Long and warming with lingering cherry, red berries, spice and softly drying wine tannins.
Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature. A few drops of water can soften the wine tannins and bring forward additional fruit and malt sweetness.
