Edradour 11 Year Old 2013 Natural Cask Strength Ibisco Decanter

Edradour 11 Year Old Natural Cask Strength Ibisco is a small-batch Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024. Matured for 11 years in a selection of ten ex-Bourbon casks, the whiskies were married together and bottled at their natural 60% ABV cask strength. Presented in Edradour’s distinctive Ibisco decanter, the release was limited to 1,997 bottles. Its Bourbon-cask maturation emphasizes Edradour’s rich spirit with creamy vanilla, orchard fruit, honey, coconut and warming oak spice.

Food Pairing: Apple crumble, vanilla crème brûlée, buttery shortbread, roasted almonds, mature cheddar or honey-glazed pork.

Tasting Notes: Rich and powerful with creamy vanilla, orchard fruit and honeyed malt accompanied by coconut, biscuit sweetness and warming spice.

Nose: Vanilla, fresh apple and honey with citrus, peppermint and subtle coconut.

Palate: Full-bodied with fresh oak, vanilla and coconut, opening to orchard fruit, honey and gentle mint with a little water.

Finish: Long and warming with citrus, vanilla, soft leather and lingering oak spice.

Serve: Allow the whisky to rest in the glass before drinking. At 60% ABV, it can be enjoyed neat, though gradually adding a few drops of water helps reveal more fruit, vanilla and honey.
