Edradour 21 Year Old 2003 Bourbon Barrel Matured Natural Cask Strength

Edradour 21 Year Old is a limited small-batch Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 2003 and bottled on 6 September 2024. It was matured exclusively in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels #67–73 for 21 years before being bottled at its natural 54.3% ABV cask strength. The seven-barrel marriage produced only 1,126 bottles, showcasing a less Sherry-driven side of Edradour with creamy vanilla, honey, citrus, tropical fruit, toffee and toasted oak.

Food Pairing: Crème brûlée, apple tart, toasted almonds, mature cheddar, roasted pork or buttery shortbread.

Tasting Notes: Creamy and fruit-forward with vanilla, honey and caramel supported by citrus, tropical fruit, toasted oak and gentle spice.

Nose: Creamy vanilla and honey with ripe yellow fruit, citrus and delicate oak.

Palate: Rich toffee and caramel with tropical fruit, lemon, vanilla and toasted oak.

Finish: Long and warming with vanilla, salted caramel, toasted wood and lingering sweet spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat after allowing it to rest in the glass. At 54.3% ABV, a few drops of water can reveal additional vanilla, citrus and tropical-fruit character.
