About the Edradour 10 Year Old 2014 Michael Eppan Sauvignon Cask Finish
Edradour 10 Year Old St. Michael-Eppan Sauvignon is a limited Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled on 16 May 2014 and bottled on 22 January 2025. Matured for 10 years and finished in two first-fill Sauvignon Blanc wine casks from the St. Michael-Eppan winery in South Tyrol, Italy, the release was bottled at 48.2% ABV. The white-wine cask influence gives Edradour’s rich malt character a brighter profile, bringing fresh citrus, stone fruit, floral honey and gentle spice. The batch produced 1,623 bottles.
Food Pairing: Grilled salmon, creamy goat cheese, lemon chicken, peach tart, shortbread or mild soft cheeses.
Tasting Notes: Fresh and vibrant with citrus and ripe stone fruit layered over Edradour’s rich malt character, accompanied by floral honey, cream and gentle spice.
Nose: Fresh fruit and citrus with floral honey and a bright white-wine character.
Palate: Creamy peach and sweet malt with citrus, subtle vanilla and warming spice.
Finish: Bright and fresh with lingering fruit, gentle spice and Sauvignon Blanc wine influence.
Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature or with a few drops of water to emphasize the citrus, peach and floral character.
