Eau Claire Distillery Earl Grey Gin

Eau Claire Distillery Earl Grey Gin is an artisanal craft spirit produced by Eau Claire Distillery in Turner Valley, Alberta, Canada, crafted in partnership with The Dorian Hotel. Distilled in small batches using Alberta grain, this expression combines traditional gin botanicals with a fine infusion of Earl Grey black tea and natural bergamot oil. The black tea leaves and citrus peel deliver a sophisticated balance of crisp piney juniper, subtle tannic warmth, and aromatic citrus blossom.

Food Pairing: Lemon shortbread, fresh scones with clotted cream, smoked salmon crostini, cucumber sandwiches, goat cheese, and blueberry tarts.

Tasting Notes: Clear with a subtle golden-amber cast in appearance and a smooth, medium-bodied, velvety mouthfeel.

Nose: Intensely aromatic up front, featuring vibrant bergamot citrus, fragrant black tea leaves, and sweet orange peel, backed by crisp piney juniper.

Palate: Rich and harmonious on the palate, opening with floral bergamot and bright citrus zest, evolving into earthy black tea tannins, warm coriander spice, and a steady juniper core.

Finish: Long, clean, and pleasantly dry with lingering notes of black tea, soft citrus oils, and a crisp botanical closure.

Serve: Serve over ice topped with premium Indian or Mediterranean tonic water, garnished with a fresh slice of lemon or an orange twist, or build into a French 75, Earl Grey Spritz, or London Fog Sour.
