That Boutique-y Whisky Company Dumbarton 33 Year Old 1992

That Boutique-y Whisky Company Dumbarton 33 Year Old is a rare Single Grain Scotch Whisky from the closed Dumbarton Distillery. Distilled in 1992, it spent 33 years maturing in a single refill hogshead before being selected for Boutique-y’s limited single-cask collection. Bottled at 45.8% ABV, this mature grain whisky combines sweet cereal and vanilla with tropical fruit, coconut, gentle oak and fresh herbal character. Dumbarton ceased production in 2002 and was subsequently demolished, making surviving aged stocks increasingly limited.

Food Pairing: Shortbread, coconut macaroons, vanilla crème brûlée, pineapple upside-down cake, roasted nuts or mild aged cheeses.

Tasting Notes: Mature and silky, combining sweet cereal and vanilla with tropical fruit, coconut, gentle oak and refreshing herbal notes.

Nose: Sweet cereal, freshly baked shortbread and vanilla wafers.

Palate: Light and silky with tropical fruit, coconut, subtle oak spice and spearmint.

Finish: Smooth and lingering with pineapple, cedar and gentle mature oak.

Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature to appreciate its mature grain character; a few drops of water can be added to further open the tropical fruit and vanilla notes.
